The garden network wants to connect all initiatives that are active in gardening in and near Göttingen. This would include small urban garden projects, intercultural gardens, neighborhood and community gardens, and educational gardens in the city and county of Göttingen.

BUND
Want to give nature a voice?
At BUND Kreisgruppe Göttingen you can volunteer and get involved in regional environmental protection. Here you can also gain useful experience for your future career. Association participation and association work are only one part of BUND. Environmental education, care missions, information booths and excursions are further keywords of our work. If you are interested, just come to one of our open meetings, every Thursday at 17.30 in Geiststr. 2 and get to know us and our work.
Also: Geiststraße 2 is home to many other environmental organizations, also known as GUNZ Göttinger Umwelt- und Naturschutzzentrum. Look past!

DJN
Do you feel like going on excursions in nature? Then the German Youth League for Nature Observation (DJN) is the right place for you! With the local group Göttingen we regularly go out into nature and determine birds, plants and everything else we find. Biologische Schutzgemeinschaft
We are a regional nature and environmental protection association in southern Lower Saxony and have been committed to the diversity of animal and plant species for over 35 years. We organize excursions and lectures, organize projects and are well networked with regional actors. In addition, we preserve and maintain over 20 protected biotopes through nature conservation measures.

Internationale Gärten
An association that gives refugees, migrants and German families the chance to get to know each other better and build relationships. Through collected donations or volunteer work on various projects, people in problematic situations can be helped and their living situation improved.
